LOCATION
Rooted upon dolomitic outcrops at elevations of 1000-1500m in north-east India and eastern Nepal.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
Untessellated green above and spotted with purple beneath. Up to 35cm in length by 2-3cm wide.

FLOWER DESCRIPTION
INFLORESCENCE
Solitary flowers on a peduncle up to 23cm in height.
DORSAL SEPAL
Yellow or pale green, margined with white and spotted with raised maroon or brown blotches. Ovate to elliptic. Lateral margins are undulate and slighly reflexed. The obtuse  margins hoods the pouch orifice.
VENTRAL SEPAL
Similarily marked  and coloured except it lacks the white margin. Elliptic in shape and smaller.
PETALS
Spatulate petals curve towards the pouch. The superior margins are undulate proximally. Yellow green to yellow brown. Median longitudinal stripes of red or brown occurs in the petals (absent from the albinistic variants).
LABELLUM
Yellow or yellowish green and may have brownish or purple suffusion depending upon the variant.

FLOWERING SEASON
Autumn and early Winter.

LOCATION
China.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
 4 -6 leaves, 8- 19 cm long, 0.7 -1.3 cm wide and green in colour.

FLOWER DESCRIPTION
INFLORESCENCE
Single flower on a 9-11 cm long peduncle.
 DORSAL SEPAL
White with green base, rounded apex.
VENTRAL SEPAL
Oblong in shape with an obtuse apex.
PETALS
Widely spread, narrow basally gradually widen towards an obtuse apex.
LABELLUM
Tan - brown.

FLOWERING SEASON
Autumn- Winter.
