best shaped of the Rumours cross. A small standard in size but very
round and red. 'Two Tone' is a standard of orange/ brown tones, with

A novelty type hybrid
to produce some unusual colours. Coral has a yellow background and is
striped with red with a dark red, barred labellum. It has Robin 'Little
John' in the background. I have seen progeny from 'Gruesome' which is a
purplish colour which can be broken into spots with the correct parent.
This cross has the potential to produce spotted and striped flowers in
various shades of colours. A triploid cross to produce standards with a
flowering time of September. |

Coratea 'Rewa' is a
cross of Coraki and Tamatea. It carries a pure colour gene. Crossed with
Golden Cascade (lowianum x Sleeping Beauty) a yellow pure colour, one
would expect a reasonable percentage of pure colours to occur. 'Rewa'
should add shape for it is a very round, filled in flower. Some of the
progeny will have the red barred labellum that 'Rewa' will pass on.

parent. Crossed with a yellow standard one would expect yellow and green
standards with a red barred labellum. August / September flowering. |

Star make Mem Joan Bryant. Uncle Dickie and Pink Globe are the parents
of Darch Glory. 'Dark Lip' has good shape and has broad segments. Colour
is a mid pink with a red spotted labellum. The Mem Joan Bryant is a
softer pink with a red edged labellum which is a little small in
comparison to the size of the flower. Hoping 'Dark Lip' will overcome
this problem. Expecting some good pink standards to come from this
cross. August flowering. |

genes in the ancestry. 'Green Grub' looks a little like Jubilation
'Geronimo' but is more green. Standard in size with a labellum which has

red column and a white pollen cap. August flowering. |

standard greens expected with a red barred labellum. August / September
